Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Evening trek briefing and equipment check.
Fly to Lukla (2,860m), Trek to Phakding (2,610m)
Early morning scenic flight to Lukla (35 minutes). Begin trek descending to Phakding village along the Dudh Koshi River. First day is easy to help with acclimatization.
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
Trek through pine forests, cross high suspension bridges, and enter Sagarmatha National Park. Steady climb to Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital. First glimpse of Everest!
Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
Crucial rest day for altitude acclimatization. Hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880m) for panoramic mountain views. Explore Namche's markets, bakeries, and Sherpa Culture Museum.
Trek to Tengboche (3,867m)
Beautiful trek with constant Everest, Ama Dablam, and Lhotse views. Visit famous Tengboche Monastery, largest in Khumbu region. Evening prayer ceremony (if timing allows).
Trek to Dingboche (4,410m)
Descend to Debuche, cross river, trek through rhododendron forests to Pangboche. Continue to Dingboche with stunning views of Ama Dablam's north face and Island Peak.
Acclimatization Day in Dingboche
Second acclimatization day. Optional hike to Nagarjun Hill (5,100m) or Chhukung village (4,730m). Both offer spectacular mountain panoramas. Rest and hydrate in afternoon.
Trek to Lobuche (4,940m)
Trek alongside Khumbu Glacier moraine. Pass memorials for climbers who died on Everest. Stunning views of Pumori and Nuptse. Entering high-altitude zone.
Trek to Gorak Shep (5,164m), Visit EBC (5,364m)
Trek to Gorak Shep then continue to Everest Base Camp! Stand at the foot of the world's highest mountain. Return to Gorak Shep for overnight stay. This is the big day!
Hike Kala Patthar (5,545m), Descend to Pheriche (4,371m)
Pre-dawn hike to Kala Patthar for spectacular sunrise over Everest, Nuptse, and Pumori. Best views of entire trek! Descend to Pheriche, significant altitude loss helps recovery.
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
Long descent day passing through Tengboche, Phunki Tenga, and back to Namche Bazaar. Celebrate completion with team dinner. Much easier breathing at lower altitude!
Trek to Lukla (2,860m)
Final trek day descending to Lukla. Reflective walk through villages you passed on ascent. Farewell party with trekking crew in Lukla. Pack for morning flight.
Fly back to Kathmandu
Morning flight back to Kathmandu (weather permitting). Transfer to hotel for hot shower and rest. Free afternoon for souvenir shopping or spa treatment. Evening celebration dinner.
Departure from Kathmandu
Final day in Nepal. Free time until airport transfer. Take home incredible memories and new friendships. Airport transfer based on your flight schedule.
