Day-by-Day Itinerary
Drive to Nayapul (1,070m), Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540m) | 1 hour drive, 3-4 hours trek
Scenic drive from Pokhara to Nayapul along the Seti River. Begin trekking through villages and terraced fields alongside Modi Khola river. Gradual uphill to Tikhedhunga village.
Trek to Ghorepani (2,874m) | 6-7 hours
Challenging day climbing stone steps from Tikhedhunga to Ulleri (2,070m) with over 3,000 steps! Continue through beautiful rhododendron and oak forests to reach Ghorepani. First mountain views in evening.
Sunrise at Poon Hill (3,210m), Trek to Tadapani (2,630m) | 1 hour sunrise hike, 5-6 hours trek
Pre-dawn hike to Poon Hill for breathtaking sunrise panorama over Dhaulagiri, Annapurna range, Nilgiri, and Machhapuchhre. Return for breakfast, then trek through rhododendron forests to Tadapani with Annapurna South views.
